“Knotty Boy all Purpose Shampoo bar is an all natural high quality soap, created using small batch, traditional cold process methods. Lasting up to THREE times longer than most soap bars. Contains no SLS, chemical additives or softeners. 100% biodegradeable and mountain stream friendly.”
This shampoo is so great that you can also use it to wash your body and it works great against skin problems and acne.
With various scents, you can most certainly find something that suits you and your preferences.
THIS PRODUCT IS TESTED ON DOGS IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT AND NO DOGS WERE HURT DURING THE PROCESS.
…But if you ask my dogs, it was extremely traumatic! Patchouli Love was used on a dog who wore Eau de Rotten Seagull for 45 mins. Any trace of scent and yuck disappeared after the first wash. She got two, just to be sure. Black Velvet was used to clean a rottweiler puppy who tried his best to remodel and find hidden treasures or recreate the trenches of WWI in my ex’s entire backyard a rainy afternoon. His coat was shiny and soft afterwards.
If you are cleaning pets, use a shampoo bar with the same color as the pet, as it might stain a bit. Scents does NOT linger (wet dog takes over…)
I have put these bars to the test big time! I brought one with me when I travelled as I didn’t want to bring a bottle of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, so I brought one of these bars. Worked like I expected, I smelled nice and had a nice clean feeling for a whole shopping day. Normal hair can get a little bit dry if you use the bar daily and have no conditioner. I also tried to wash my clothes with the shampoo bar when I had a… eh… “female accident”. Worked like a charm, no evidence was left BUT it stained my white pants with a grey blob. Any stains from the bar disappeared when washed in a washing machine at home. My advice is to not pick one of the darker colors as an allround savior when going on an adventure. Overall, this is my favorite dreadlock product, as it’s so versatile.
